Chiropractic Care in Wembley
At Unwind Chiropractic and Wellness, we take a personalised approach to chiropractic care, looking beyond where you feel pain to understand how your body is moving, adapting and responding.
Located at 3 Essex Street, Wembley, our chiropractic care is designed for people experiencing pain and movement concerns, as well as those looking for support with their nervous system, posture and overall function.
Our approach combines chiropractic assessment and care with a strong focus on nervous system regulation, movement and the relationship between the spine, muscles and nervous system.
We work with adults, pregnant women, babies and children, with particular areas of focus including headaches and migraines, neck pain, TMJ and jaw pain, and low back pain
A Different Approach to Chiropractic Care
Not all chiropractic care looks the same.
At Unwind, we take the time to understand your individual presentation before deciding what type of care is appropriate for you. Your first appointment includes a thorough health history, physical examination and posture assessment, with posture photographs taken where appropriate.
If imaging is clinically indicated, we can also provide a referral.
Where treatment is appropriate and safe, treatment may be provided during your initial consultation. Your care is then tailored around your individual needs, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our chiropractic approach incorporates a number of techniques, with a particular interest in Neural Organisation Technique (N.O.T.), nervous system regulation, and cranial and jaw work.

Chiropractic Care for Babies and Children
At Unwind, we welcome families from the newborn stage onwards.
We understand that bringing a baby or child to a healthcare practitioner can come with questions, so our approach is gentle, age-appropriate and tailored to the individual child.
Parents may seek chiropractic assessment for babies experiencing concerns such as colic, reflux, sleep difficulties or constipation, while older children may present with concerns relating to movement, posture, emotional regulation or learning.
It's important to understand that these concerns can have many different causes. Chiropractic care is not a replacement for medical assessment or other appropriate healthcare, but we can assess your child's musculoskeletal and movement presentation and determine whether chiropractic care may be appropriate.
For babies and children, treatment is always adapted to their age, size, development and individual needs.
Chiropractic for TMJ and Jaw Pain
Jaw pain can affect much more than the jaw itself.
The TMJ works closely with the muscles of the jaw, face, head and neck, and changes in one area can influence movement and tension elsewhere.
At Unwind, we take a broader look at TMJ and jaw pain, rather than assessing the jaw in isolation.
Your assessment may consider:
Jaw movement and function
Neck movement
Head and neck posture
Muscular tension
Cranial relationships
Nervous system regulation
The way the jaw, neck and surrounding structures work together
Our chiropractic approach may include cranial and jaw work alongside gentle chiropractic techniques, depending on your individual presentation.
If you're searching for a chiropractor for TMJ pain, we can assess your presentation and determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you.
Neural Organisation Technique (N.O.T.) is a gentle chiropractic approach that considers how the nervous system responds to different forms of stress and how this may influence the way the body moves and functions.
Rather than focusing solely on an area that feels painful or restricted, N.O.T. considers the communication between the brain, nervous system and body.
At Unwind, N.O.T. forms part of our broader approach to understanding how your body is responding and adapting, alongside physical examination, movement assessment and other chiropractic techniques where appropriate.
Chiropractic and Nervous System Regulation
Your nervous system plays an important role in how your body responds to the world around you.
Stress, poor sleep, physical strain, prolonged postures and ongoing pain can all influence how the body responds and how you feel.
Our approach considers the relationship between the spine, muscles, movement and nervous system, with care tailored to how you present on the day.
For some people, this means addressing physical tension and movement restrictions. For others, it may involve a greater focus on calming an overactive stress response and supporting the body's ability to move between states of activation and rest.
This nervous-system-informed approach is one of the things that makes chiropractic care at Unwind different.

Chiropractic During Pregnancy
Pregnancy brings significant changes to the body.
As your body adapts throughout pregnancy, changes in posture, movement, joint loading and muscle tension can contribute to aches and discomfort.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is tailored to your stage of pregnancy, symptoms and individual presentation.
Our approach is gentle and focused on helping you feel comfortable and supported as your body changes.
We can assess concerns such as:
Lower back discomfort
Pelvic discomfort
Hip tension
Postural changes
General aches and stiffness
Changes in movement throughout pregnancy
Your care will always be adapted to what is appropriate and safe for you and your pregnancy.
Chiropractic for Headaches, Migraines and Neck Pain
Headaches can have many different contributing factors, and understanding what may be influencing your symptoms is an important part of assessment.
We see people experiencing headaches, migraines and neck pain, including presentations where symptoms may be associated with neck tension, posture, muscular tension or jaw dysfunction.
Your assessment may consider:
Neck and spinal movement
Posture
Muscle tension
Jaw and TMJ function
Cranial and cervical mechanics
Movement patterns
Nervous system regulation
Where appropriate, chiropractic care may incorporate gentle spinal techniques, muscular approaches, cranial work and jaw-focused techniques.
If your symptoms require investigation or care outside the scope of chiropractic, we can also recommend appropriate medical or allied-health assessment.

At Unwind, your assessment may look at:
Spinal movement
Posture
Muscle tension
Movement patterns
Pelvic and spinal mechanics
Activities that may be contributing to your symptoms
Your broader nervous system response
Treatment is tailored to your presentation and may incorporate a combination of chiropractic techniques and movement-based recommendations.
Our goal isn't simply to treat where you hurt. We want to understand why your body may be responding the way it isand develop an approach appropriate for you.
